A GUIDE TO OUR SERVICES
What would you like
to take care of?
Start with the space or surface on your mind. Each service below explains what we look at, why preparation matters and how the work can improve your home or property.
ROOTED LOCALLY. REFINED THROUGH GENERATIONS.
An inherited craft.
A responsibility
we make our own.
Over a century of family craftsmanship is a way of seeing the work: look closely, understand the material and take responsibility for the finish.
Our family story connects Irish roots, painting and surface protection in Georgia's shipyards, and a path through Georgia, Florida and New York. Carroll Painting has served Colorado Springs since 1988.
The craft was passed on by working beside family, watching a practiced hand, correcting a detail and learning why it mattered. In your home, that means attention to the condition of a surface, the way light reveals texture and the preparation a finish needs.
A practiced eye
Notice the edges, transitions and worn areas before deciding how to finish them.
A considered finish
Bring color, sheen and texture into conversation with the home's architecture.
A family name attached
Explain the scope, respect the home and be clear about what the work can achieve.
Our family's Christian faith informs how we aim to serve: with honesty, respect and care. We welcome homeowners of every belief and value the trust placed in us.
01 / INTERIOR PAINTING
Make the rooms you live in
feel like yours.
The best color choice belongs to the whole room: the daylight, flooring, furnishings and the way your family uses the space. The finish should make those pieces feel at home together.
A familiar room, seen in a new light.
This living room repaint moved the walls from a warm brown to a lighter palette. The paired photographs show how the new wall color relates to the ceiling, windows and adjoining room. The broader room update also included fireplace tile, shown in the photos; tile installation is not part of the painting scope described here.
Plan the surfaces
Walk through walls, ceilings, doors and trim together. Identify worn areas, existing texture and the edges where colors and materials meet.
Care for daily life
Furniture and floor protection, room access and the order of work deserve attention before painting begins. Tell us which spaces your household needs to keep using.
Choose with the room in mind
Look at color in your own light. Discuss the balance between appearance, sheen and everyday use before settling on a finish.
02 / CABINET REFINISHING
Cabinet refinishing.
Keep the character.
Change the feel.
Cabinetry shapes the room you use every day. A considered finish can bring a different feeling to the space while working with the cabinets already there.
We offer cabinet refinishing in Colorado Springs. Tell us whether you are updating kitchen cabinets, a bathroom vanity or built-in cabinetry. We begin by discussing the existing material, finish and condition, along with the appearance you want to achieve.
Craftsmanship matters at close range: door profiles, edges, visible grain and the places your hands touch every day. Color and sheen should relate to the counters, flooring, hardware and light around them.
Discuss your cabinet refinishing projectBEFORE THE FINISH IS CHOSEN
A clear plan for familiar cabinetry.
Assess what is there.
Review the cabinet material, existing coating and visible wear. Discuss damaged components separately so the scope is clear.
Define the preparation.
Clarify cleaning, surface preparation, priming where appropriate, and exactly which doors, drawer fronts and cabinet surfaces are included.
Plan for life around the work.
Discuss protection of adjoining surfaces, access to the room and drying or curing instructions before returning the cabinetry to everyday use.
Honest expectations: existing grain, texture and the condition of the cabinetry influence the finished appearance. We will discuss suitability and the result to expect before agreeing on the work.
Think through color and finish03 / DRYWALL REPAIR
Drywall repair.
A thoughtful foundation
for fresh paint.
A damaged area can draw your eye every time you enter a room. Repair begins with understanding the condition of the wall and how the repaired area will relate to the surface around it.
Carroll Painting offers drywall repair in Colorado Springs, including repair planning alongside an interior repaint. Show us the holes, dents, cracks or previously patched areas you would like assessed so we can define the work before painting.
Understand the damage
Discuss the size, location and condition of each area. If there is moisture, staining or recurring movement, the underlying cause needs attention before a cosmetic repair.
Prepare the repair
Review the patching, sanding and priming appropriate to the agreed scope. Protection and cleanup should be part of the conversation, especially in rooms your family uses daily.
Plan the visual transition
Existing texture, light and paint sheen influence how a repaired area reads. Discuss texture blending and how much of the surrounding wall should be repainted.
The goal is a considered blend.
We explain the limits of matching an existing surface. An aged finish or distinctive texture may remain perceptible, so we do not promise every patch will be invisible in every light.
04 / EXTERIOR PAINTING
A welcome home.
A well-considered
layer of protection.
An exterior has to work as a whole, from the broad siding surfaces to the trim around a window and the color of the front door.
We look at existing coatings, exposed edges, joints and areas that may need repair. Colorado Springs experience brings attention to how differently the sunny side, sheltered elevations and weathered trim can present themselves.
Preparation and product selection belong in the estimate alongside color. Painting begins with understanding what is already on the house and what the surface needs next.
See our exterior painting projectsWeathered siding edges
Peeling edges and separating wood grain called for substantial preparation before the finish coats.
Preparation, then color
Our project record describes spray and backroll application and two full coats of Sherwin-Williams Emerald Exterior.
A coordinated exterior
Herbal Wash siding, Alabaster trim, Grassland accents and a Rainstorm front door create a deliberate relationship between the home's details.
DIFFERENT HOME. DIFFERENT DECISIONS.
The preparation belongs to the property.
On our Carriage Stone project, weathered surfaces needed priming, and joints and seams were caulked before two coats of Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint Exterior Satin.
These are the systems used on these particular homes. Your estimate should explain the preparation and coating selected for yours.

Respect the texture.
Understand the surface.
Stucco care starts with what you can see and what needs a closer look: cracks, worn coating, damaged corners and changes in texture. A fresh color is only one part of that conversation.
Preparation is part of the finished work.
Our stucco service includes assessing the surface, cleaning and preparing it, and addressing the repairs included in the agreed scope before coating. Discuss damaged areas early so the estimate describes more than the visible color change.
Texture, existing material and the age of adjoining surfaces affect how a repair blends. We work toward a considered visual transition and discuss those limits rather than promising every repair will disappear.
Elastomeric coating appears in several of our documented projects. The appropriate coating depends on the surface and condition of your home.

Sometimes, the right finish
starts with
a sounder surface.
A failing coating and a failing board are different problems. Understanding the difference helps you decide where preparation is enough and where replacement belongs in the scope.
Our siding service begins with assessing the existing material. We discuss the areas to be removed, the replacement material and profile, and how the finished work will meet the surrounding exterior.
If there are concerns beyond the visible surface, they deserve a separate conversation before they are covered. Paint should not be used to disguise a material problem.

WORK WITH THE MATERIAL
Keep the character. Clarify the scope.
This published cedar-siding project illustrates coordinated care across wood, trim and stucco. It is an example of preparation and painting; replacement needs are evaluated separately.
For your home, we will discuss how the material, profile and finish relate to what is already there.
07 / DECK & LOG HOME STAINING
Care for the wood.
Keep its character.
Wood is part of the experience of a home: a porch where people gather, the grain in a railing, the warmth of a cedar or log exterior.
We assess the current finish, surface condition and exposure before discussing preparation and a suitable stain or sealer. The desired appearance matters, along with how the material has weathered and how it will be maintained.
A deck surface and a vertical log wall do different work. Your plan should identify the surfaces being treated, the preparation involved and the upkeep to expect.
Explore deck and log home stainingDecks & railings
Talk through the walking surfaces, edges and railings, including areas that need attention before the finish.
Cedar & log homes
Consider existing color, grain and texture when choosing the appearance of the next finish.
Planning future care
Discuss the maintenance your deck, cedar siding or log-home finish will need. Ask which signs of wear to watch for and when the surface should be reassessed.
08 / COMMERCIAL PAINTING
A cared-for building.
A considered plan.
An office, retail space or shared property needs a finish that welcomes people and a plan that respects the way the building is used.
We provide interior and exterior commercial painting in Colorado Springs. We assess the surfaces, discuss preparation and coating requirements, and work through access and sequencing with the person responsible for the property.
Understand the use
Identify occupied areas, tenant or customer access, and the surfaces that see frequent wear.
Define the work
Separate walls, ceilings, trim and exterior surfaces. Document preparation, repairs and finish expectations.
Agree on the sequence
Discuss working hours, access and the order of areas before the project begins. Scheduling depends on the scope and availability.
09 / GARAGE PAINTING & FLOOR COATINGS
A hardworking space.
A more considered finish.
Walls, ceilings, doors and concrete floors each need their own approach. Plan a garage that feels cared for and works for the way you use it.
Garage painting can bring a cleaner, more cohesive appearance to familiar surfaces. Epoxy and polyaspartic floor-coating options begin with assessment of the slab, moisture conditions, cracks and any existing coating.
We discuss the proposed preparation, finish and access plan before work begins. Product requirements and site conditions determine drying, curing and the return of vehicles. A surface that feels dry is not necessarily ready for tires.
Our documented garage project shows the painting transformation. The floor-coating scope is planned separately for the actual concrete in your home.

WHAT YOU ARE REALLY INVESTING IN
Protection begins
beneath the finish.
Two estimates can name the same paint and describe very different projects. The preparation, repairs and surfaces included are what make the comparison meaningful.
Observe before prescribing.
Identify loose coatings, damaged material, cracks and transitions. Discuss which conditions are included in the work and which need further evaluation.
Make the preparation visible.
Ask what will be cleaned, scraped, sanded, patched, caulked or primed where appropriate. The methods should follow the surface and agreed scope.
Know what comes next.
Clarify the coating system, areas to protect, access requirements, expected sequence and final review. Put important decisions in the written scope.
DESIGN IS IN THE RELATIONSHIPS
A color is never
just a swatch.
It sits beside brick, beneath a roofline or across from a window. It changes with the room around it.
On our Herbal Wash exterior, a color consultant helped coordinate the body, trim, accent and front-door colors. For your project, bring the elements you want to keep and the feeling you want to create. We can discuss the color guidance appropriate to your scope.
Color & architecture
Consider the roof, stone, brick and permanent materials before choosing the colors around them.
Light & sheen
View samples where they will be used. Discuss how the finish should look in daylight and the lighting you live with.
Texture & detail
Think about the grain of wood, the character of stucco and the small transitions that make a finish feel intentional.
BEFORE WE BEGIN
Good questions.
Clear answers.
Choosing someone to work on your home should feel informed and comfortable. Here are a few useful places to start.
Ask about your projectWhat services does Carroll Painting offer?
We offer interior and exterior painting, cabinet refinishing, drywall repair, stucco painting and repair, commercial painting, siding replacement, deck and log home staining, and garage painting and floor coatings in Colorado Springs. Tell us about the surfaces and concerns involved so we can discuss the right scope for your property.
How long has Carroll Painting served Colorado Springs?
Carroll Painting has served Colorado Springs since 1988. Our broader family tradition of painting, surface protection and hands-on craftsmanship spans more than a century.
Can painting and repairs be planned together?
Yes. Tell us about peeling paint, damaged siding, cracked stucco or other surface concerns when you request an estimate. We will discuss the preparation and repairs to include before painting, and any conditions that need further evaluation.
Can every cabinet be refinished?
Suitability depends on the cabinet material, existing finish and condition. We assess those details with you and discuss preparation, the surfaces included and the appearance to expect. Damaged components or changes beyond refinishing should be identified separately in the scope.
Will a drywall repair blend with the rest of the wall?
The aim is a considered visual blend. Existing texture, material condition, lighting and paint sheen can affect the result. We discuss texture matching and the area to repaint before work begins, without promising an invisible patch in every situation.
Will a stucco repair match the existing texture exactly?
We work toward a considered visual match, but texture, material age, previous coatings and surrounding conditions can affect the result. We discuss expectations before the work rather than promise an invisible repair in every situation.
Do the photos show real Carroll projects?
The project photographs on this page come from our company project galleries and a documented surface-condition record. Before, after and in-progress photographs are labeled for context. The living-room photos also show a fireplace tile update; that tile installation is not included in the painting scope described here.
How much will my project cost, and how long will it take?
Cost and timing depend on the surfaces, preparation, repairs, access and selected finish. Exterior work also depends on suitable weather. Request an estimate for your property so we can discuss a specific scope and schedule.
What should I prepare before requesting an estimate?
A short description of the rooms or exterior areas, photographs of visible concerns and any timing needs are helpful. You do not need to have every color chosen. Tell us what you want to change and what you would like to preserve.
Does sending the contact form confirm an appointment?
No. The contact form sends an inquiry about your project. To choose a time, use our online scheduling page and complete its steps, then look for the appointment confirmation. You can also call (719) 963-8033 to discuss your estimate.
